Kirby Simon Summer Fellows 2006
During the summer of 2006, the Schell Center for Human Rights at Yale Law School funded 45 Kirby Simon Summer Fellows. They will be traveling to 28 countries, working in human rights areas such as transitional justice, reproductive rights, social and political equality, immigration, refugee advocacy, and environmental protection. These are their thoughts and stories.

Welcome!
Welcome to the Kirby Simon Summer Fellows blog!
The Kirby Simon Summer Human Rights Fellowships provide funding for Yale students to carry out human rights work during the summer. Yale law students and a small number of students from other Yale departments receive support for human rights internships and projects that they arrange. The fellowships are supported by the Diamondston Foundation and are administered by the Schell Center for Human Rights at Yale Law School.
Here is a place we can share pictures, stories, and communicate with each other throughout our internships. If you already have a blog or a website, let us know and we'll link to it. We look forward to hearing from you all soon.
